from Bautzen use the B6 to Löbau, then follow the B178 via Herrnhut to Zittau

from Bautzen use the B96 to Zittau via Oppach, Ebersbach

from direction Berlin/Görlitz

from Berlin, motorway to Cottbus, leave at Roggosen, follow the B115 to Görlitz, then forward to Zittau on the B99

from direction Prague/Liberec (CZ)

from Prague, motorway 10 / R35 to Liberec, follow R35 direction Hrádek n.N. and then to border crossing Friedensstraße Zittau
